We are seeking entry-level Help Desk Technicians to support a new technology rollout in a healthcare environment. This is a 90-day contract position with the potential for permanent hire based on performance. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to healthcare staff during the technology rollout.
  • Assist with hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates.
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Document and track support requests, solutions, and follow-up actions using a ticketing system.
  • Guide users through technical issues, including login, connectivity, and application support.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Educate end-users on new technology and provide basic training as required.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare IT security and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Experience: Previous help desk, customer support, or technical support experience is preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude are welcome to apply.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and common IT troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment under minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Experience in a healthcare environment or familiarity with healthcare technology systems (e.g., EMR/EHR).

Knowledge of remote access tools and ticketing systems.
