Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and improve injection molding processes.
• Test and qualify new molds, as well as modify existing ones to ensure production readiness.
• Troubleshoot molding machine issues and collaborate with relevant departments for timely repairs.
• Apply industry standards and procedures, such as PPAP and TS, to maintain product quality.
• Address customer feedback and defects, implementing corrective actions for process improvements.
• Participate in design and production review meetings to recommend and implement new manufacturing techniques.
• Provide on-the-job training for manufacturing staff, focusing on lean manufacturing principles (5S, takt time, continuous improvement).
• Oversee daily activities in production cells, ensuring alignment with production priorities.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts across various production cells, working through root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings aimed at resolving urgent production floor issues.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, documenting activities and troubleshooting efforts.
• Ensure all process verifications and corrective actions are completed on the production floor.
• Assist in maintaining and updating training records, operating procedures, and quality documentation.
