HR Generalist

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a HR Generalist based in North Hollywood, California. As a HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in managing various HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage employee relation issues, conduct investigations and provide resolutions in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Administer performance management processes including performance evaluations, development plans, and corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and maintain updated employee records as per company policies and legal requirements.
• Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to support employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure accurate processing of semi-monthly or monthly payroll, complying with federal, state, and local laws.
• Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, benefits enrollment, and addressing employee inquiries.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures, communicating and enforcing company policies and practices.
• Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives to support strategic goals and organizational growth.
• Utilize skills in ADP
• Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS
• Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Dayforce, Benefit Functions, Communication, Compliance, Employee Relations, FMLA.
• Proficiency in using Paychex
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Hands-on experience with Ceridian
• Proficient in using Dayforce
• Deep understanding of Benefit Functions
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Compliance regulations in the non-profit sector
• Experience in handling Employee Relations
• Familiarity with FMLA regulations and procedures
