Machine Operator trainees spend the first 3 months shadowing and learning how to properly run a roll machine on their own.

Upon satisfactory completion of the training, employees can advance to higher level machine operators with an increase in pay and job responsibilities.

SHIFT HOURS: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (Overtime as required)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • - Assembles components and/or finished product according to drawings, work instructions or manufacturing orders
  • - Learns how to operate a variety of machines with trainer supervision
  • - Wraps and packages finish components/products; loads product on skids
  • - Labels components/products up on completion during assembly
  • - May record production data regarding quantity produced, inventory used, time worked or other data on appropriate routers or other documents
  • - Cleans work area following production, dispose of waste
  • - Provides any assistance to teammates when asked

Experience and Skills:

  • - High School diploma or certificate of equivalency
  • - Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred
  • - Must be able to read measurement devices in increments of 1/32”
  • - Must be able to stand throughout your shift, bend, twist, and lift up to 50-pound rolls.
  • - Be able to write and document information clearly.
  • - Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  • - Basic math skills required.
  • - Individuals must possess the interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with coworkers.
  • - Ability to pass our background and drug screening process.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move throughout the facility, stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate. The employee must frequently lift, bend, twist, turn, or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.
