Sr. Customer Service Representative

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Customer Service Representative in ALBANY, New York. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service and support, addressing and resolving customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate customer records in our system.

This position will require a comprehensive understanding of our services and programs, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and guide program participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact regarding inquiries and concerns from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to team members, ensuring a thorough understanding of our services and programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate workflows, suggesting improvements and updates to policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Assist with department audits and satisfaction surveys to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Educate program participants on our various services and programs, guiding them through the onboarding process and ensuring completion of required paperwork and compliance.
  • Respond to and track the needs of program participants, effectively coordinating services as required.
  • Ensure excellent customer service through various communication channels such as telephone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams on matters concerning program participants.
  • Support the organization’s mission to provide and advance community-based supports.
  • Utilize various software systems including CRM, ERP
  • Enterprise Resource Planning, and Epic Software for data processing and customer management.
  • Proficient in computer programs and data processing
  • Strong experience with CRM systems
  • Knowledgeable in Epic Software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Familiarity with About Time software is advantageous
  • Ability to handle and manage answering inbound calls effectively
  • Understanding of benefit functions
  • Experience with billing functions and claim administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and to multitask
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Prior experience in a similar role is highly beneficial.
