Robert Half is actively recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant/ Tax Consultant to work for CPA firm for a 3-4 month engagement. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be preparing individual, corporate and trust returns. In addition, the consultant may assist with the review of tax returns.
This role can be done remote.
Requirements:
- Prior experience of independent preparation of individual, corporate and trust tax returns
- Review documents from prior year to confirm consistency of entries
- Prepare summary sheet and code pages for easy review
- Reconcile any discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Excel skills
- Deep knowledge of Lacerte ( required)
Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Able to communicate at various levels within the organization
- Applicant must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Tax Accountant./ Tax consultant
- Proficiency in Personal Tax is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- The candidate must possess substantial knowledge and understanding of Corporate Tax.
- Expertise in Partnership Tax is a crucial requirement for this role.
- The potential recruit should have a strong background in preparing and managing Tax Returns.
- Experience with Trust Tax Returns is a significant requirement for this role.
