Job Description

My client is seeking a seasoned Superintendent with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in MEP Projects:

Oversee the MEP components of data center projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
Collaborate with project teams to coordinate MEP systems' commissioning, startup, and integration.
Manage subcontractors, ensuring all MEP work aligns with project specifications and timelines.
Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with MEP codes, industry standards, and client expectations.
Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders to ensure clarity on project objectives and changes.
Monitor project progress and budget, reporting regularly to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent supervising or performing heavy mechanical, electrical and plumbing work.
Experience with data center projects
Proven track record of running jobs from cradle to grave
Strong leadership and team management skills
Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings
Proficiency in PlanGrid, Ranken, and Bluebeam highly preferred
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
Ability to foster a collaborative and positive work environment
