Diesel Mechanic/Technician

Full-time

Pay Range: Up to $45/hr based on experience, abilities and certifications

Job Summary

Youll work independently on equipment that requires a high level of skill with hydraulics, electrical, and diagnostics

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit as a mechanic at MSW:

• Five (5) years of relevant work experience (additional experience preferred)
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid drivers license and must have a clean driving record.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Incredible Safety and Performance Bonus Paid out Quarterly. Earn up to an additional $3,000 per year.
• Quarterly Tool Allowance Up to $1,000 per year.
• Work Boot Allowance

To be successful as a Mechanic, you'll be expected to:

• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards, and perform all work by established safety procedures.
• Conducts regular inspections of equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and to identify potential issues
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and effectively repair any problems identified during an inspection.
• Perform proficient inspection, diagnosis, and moderately complex repair of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Use vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
• Estimate time and material costs on repairs and requisitions of new parts.
• Advise supervisor immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
• Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles. Performs maintenance-related work as required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision at times
• Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
