We are currently looking to add a Roadway Engineer to our Alternative Delivery team. As a Roadway Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
- Work within multi-discipline team to develop projects delivered through Alternative Delivery contracts
- Analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria, with guidance provided on complex matters
- Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in Open Roads Designer
- Approach tasks with a project mindset, to include coordination with other disciplines throughout the duration of the project; propose innovative solutions to design problems
- May assign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, ensuring adherence to project criteria
- Prepare engineering reports and plans for review
- Effectively present proposed team design solutions as part of internal project meetings; attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
- Ensure timely completion of time sheets, expense reports
- Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goals
- Contribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors
- Design-Build/Alternative Delivery experience is a plus

Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) obtained or desired
- Years of Experience: 4+ years
