Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shifts (06:00 - 16:30)

Job Description:

• Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms for cardiovascular and surgical procedures.
• Sterilize instruments, equipment, and surgical areas in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Ensure all necessary surgical tools and materials are readily available before procedures.
• Assist in patient preparation, including preoperative site cleansing and disinfection.
• Provide intraoperative support by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies as needed.
• Track and maintain an accurate count of surgical instruments and materials throughout the procedure.
• Stay up to date with advancements in surgical technology, medical terminology, and operating room protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and the surgical team.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety throughout the surgical process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
