Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Estimating
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive and competitive bid proposals.
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure optimal pricing and resource availability.
Participate in project planning, value engineering, and risk assessment to support successful project execution.
Manage the bidding process, including soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals.
Present cost estimates and proposals to internal teams and clients with clarity and confidence.

The Successful Applicant

The Construction Estimator will possess:

5+ years experience as an estimator
Experience estimating life science, healthcare, commercial, retail or academic projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with estimating software and tools; experience with Procore, bluebeam, P6 or similar systems is a plus.
Resides within commuting distance of Quincy, MA, and has familiarity with the Greater Boston construction market.
