Project Manager - Control Systems
This is a hybrid-position and will require commuting into the Somerset, NJ area 2-3 days a week. Responsibilities include assisting in system design, writing functional specifications, coordinating with and overseeing vendors, and providing support during startup and commissioning. As experience grows, the role may expand to include project management and SI services.
Extensive use of Siemens tools, especially SIMIT and COSMOS software, is required.
Primary Responsibilities:-Manage and execute projects in industries such as power generation, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and manufacturing.-Design, develop, and maintain control systems that meet performance standards.-Test and evaluate control systems for functionality and efficiency.-Diagnose and troubleshoot control system issues, implementing solutions as necessary.-Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless integration of control systems into broader projects.-Document control system designs, specifications, and testing outcomes.-Stay informed on industry advancements to continuously improve systems.-Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to identify optimal solutions.-Provide technical support and guidance to clients and users.-Develop solutions based on client needs and identify opportunities for service expansion.
