You will dive deep into data to understand and assess opportunities and methods, and partner across organizations to define and implement scalable solutions to the most impactful operations and support challenges. As a PM, you will identify bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and manage tradeoffs, and balance business needs with constraints.

Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Program Manager to join Process Engineering to create mechanisms and drive efficiency within our team. In this position you will scope and deliver PE priority projects end-to-end, drive project schedules, and expedite resolution of cross functional customer escalations.You will dive deep into data to understand and assess opportunities and methods, and partner across organizations to define and implement scalable solutions to the most impactful operations and support challenges. As a PM, you will identify bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and manage tradeoffs, and balance business needs with constraints.
You will be expected to clearly communicate to AR leadership, engineering, operations, and support partners.
Key job responsibilities- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's operations, processes, and key stakeholder relationships to anticipate the Leadership needs and proactively address issues.
- Manage operational priorities and workflows, ensuring efficient use of time and the timely completion of critical tasks and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with PE Leadership to develop and implement effective operational strategies, policies, and procedures that drive continuous improvement and enhance departmental performance.
- Develop and drive PE communication and rhythm of business strategy to improve internal and external visibility and collaboration.
- Represent PE in various internal and external meetings, effectively communicating department priorities, challenges, and achievements to key stakeholders.
- Analyze operational data, identify trends and opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to inform decision-making and drive solutions.
- Serve as a trusted liaison between the Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations cross-functional leaders, fostering collaborative relationships and aligning operational priorities.
- Champion the adoption of industry best practices, innovative technologies, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance the organizations capabilities.
- Organize Team Events/ SWAG, and Quarterly Headcount Resource Planning Meetings.
- Develop and execute on Engineering Document Management strategy.

About the team
Amazon Robotics provides world class manufacturing production, process and production system design, advanced manufacturing and supply chain quality engineering, and test services for complex electro-mechanical systems. Process Engineering is responsible for developing the assembly processes to manufacture the largest fleet of industrial mobile robots in the world and are constantly identifying opportunities to improve and deliver more for our customers.- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math/Statistics, or Business.
- * 1+ years of experience leading engineering projects with aggressive schedules or equivalent experience.
- * Experience with project management tools and processes.
- * Experience working with teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements.
- * Experience and proven skill in writing white papers, organizational communications, and business cases.- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience analyzing data in SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality.
- Experience in business consulting, operations analysis, or process improvement (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) desirable.
- Strong data analytics and modeling skills with proven experience developing and using tools to analyze large data sets to drive decisions.
- Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
