We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Legal Administrator in LUTHERVILLE, Maryland. In this role, you will be working for an established Attorney who is known for being supportive & collaborative.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones, greet clients, order supplies, conduct annual purge of files after tax time, and "open" the office each morning.
Heavy client contact via email and/or phone, drafting/editing/proofing letters and legal documents (estate planning and estate administration), billing, banking, trust administration support, process trust tax returns and tax payments, maintain calendar, heavy scanning, maintain/update various office lists (task list, estate admin deadlines, original documents vault and inventory, etc.).
Legal experience preferred but not required- Strong skills in maintaining effective client communications
- Ability to scan documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Proficiency in typing correspondence with attention to detail
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
