Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Civil/Site Engineer to join our team in Allentown, PA.

Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations and create estimates.
- Develop drawings by modifying or replicating a prior project, applying changes and corrections from redlined drawings, and/or creating drawings from sketches of others or from own design.
- Ensure designs are in accordance with company and client production and design standards.
- Perform QA/QC by verifying design methodology, calculations, outcomes, etc.
- Interpret and understand drawings from multiple disciplines for specific projects and respond to requests for information regarding same.
- Conduct field inspections and surveys, investigate variables, obtain measurements, photographs, videos, and take notes; write reports documenting same.
- Research and apply code provisions to design.
- Work with senior engineers to create project designs.
- Utilize Autocad Civil 3D on a daily basis.
- Research design options and document findings for project manager.
- Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures, using own judgement to make adaptations and modifications to existing designs.
- Assist Project Engineers and leaders as needed in the creation of designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations (PA).
- Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading and other site development related designs.
- Demonstrated Civil 3D skills with the ability to design site layouts concept through completion.
- Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment.
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
