AR Clerk
Primary Responsibility
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist the Accounts Receivable Team and be responsible for preparing, posting, verifying and recording customer payments and transaction related to accounts receivable. The successful candidate will be highly service oriented with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Process credit applications and collect necessary information to establish credit termsScan credit documents
Provide invoices and account statements to customers
Research payment discrepancies
Send credit reference information as needed
Post cash and credit card processing
Solicit payment on overdue accounts
Skill and Qualifications
Ability to effectively communicate and follow up with the customers and other departments within the companyHigh school diploma or related work experience in AR, AP or Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Live within 1-hour commute to Woburn, MA Headquarters
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, pull/push up to 10lbsAbility to sit/stand for the duration of the shift
