Flex Operator Information:
Horton, Inc., a global airflow industry leader in reliability, service and innovation has an opening for a Flex Operator to work in our Westminster, SC location. This position is responsible for various job such as assembling fans, balancing fans, and molding fans.Standard work hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with overtime, as needed.This position starts at $17.21 per hour and depends on experience.

Responsibilities
Flex Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Will be expected to be able to perform daily tasks including following standard work to assemble product using machinery and/or hand tools.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and blueprint specifications. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verifies quality specifications by measuring completed component/product. Will be responsible for the operation and set-up of all simple and complex machines within their assigned area.
- Ensure data accuracy before transacting in inventory system. Elevate issues or suspected discrepancies to management.
- Will be required to fill in as Operator in other departments as directed/rotated.
- Train new operators when assigned.
- Practice 6S and maintain clean and safe work areas at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EMPLOYMENT SELECTION CRITERIA:
Previous relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Must have reliable transportation. Attention to detail is a must. Must be able to work with hand tools and other machinery.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work well in a group and individually. Some degree of mechanical aptitude may be required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Relocation allowance may be provided if the individual has all of the necessary qualifications.
