Overview:

The Facility Specialist maintains physical appearance and efficient operations of buildings by performing duties in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other building maintenance or repairs.

Min: USD $17.00/Hr.

Max: USD $22.00/Hr.

Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
  • Make repairs and renovations within the facility on ceilings, walls, floors, windows, furniture and doors.
  • Perform general carpentry services, installs/builds shelves, cabinets and assembles/repairs desks, chairs and other furniture.
  • Responsible for the routine maintenance and upkeep of HVAC systems as well as company vehicles.
  • Ensure efficient lighting of the facility through planned bulb and ballast replacement and repair/replacement of inoperable lighting systems.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting electrical wiring problems and making necessary repairs.
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains domestic and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and materials in performing duties.
  • Perform light maintenance to equipment and tools.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas.
  • Maintain grounds by mowing lawn, trimming weeds and other lawn maintenance as required.
  • May assist with building cleaning and trash disposal.
  • Attends trainings and meetings as required.
  • Must be available to work various shifts on multiple days of the week.
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
  • May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED and at least two (2) years relevant experience or training.
