Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of Maintenance including but not limited to rotogravure printing presses, blown film extruders, slitters, bag making machinery and all ancillary equipment.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair building systems: HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, etc.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems: (change lightbulbs, clean and repair circuit breakers)
- Ensure fitness and safety of all electrical and mechanical systems through routine testing
- Troubleshoot issues and repair all production machinery
- Inspect alarm systems (Fire and protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform pest control such as spraying insecticide
- Perform manual repairs (fix locks, replace windows) when needed
- A strong electrical aptitude
- Ability to read electrical control schematics
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician and a working knowledge of maintenance processes and methods.
- Mechanically inclined and understand how to use a variety of tools, common appliances and devices
- A basic understanding of HVAC, hydraulic and plumbing systems
- CMRP Certification – Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional
- HVAC Certification
- Building Maintenance Technology Certification
- Knowledge of PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- 8-10 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Stand for long periods of time
- Be able to lift 50 or more pounds
- Be able to bend, crawl and climb
