Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level network solutions for our client. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of on-premises and cloud-based network infrastructures, including security protocols, data center architecture, and communication tools.

This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot complex issues, ensure optimal network performance, and contribute to business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise network solutions, supporting both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Analyze organizational networking requirements, conducting capacity planning, troubleshooting, and performance management.
  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures using OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS protocols.
  • Integrate on-premises networks with cloud services to ensure secure, optimized connections.
  • Manage and configure firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access controls for both on-premises and cloud deployments.
  • Conduct site surveys and ensure secure Wi-Fi deployments in office setups and Azure-based environments.
  • Support Cisco data center architecture for scalable and efficient deployments.
  • Provide expertise in Avaya voice architecture, including telephony, voicemail, and contact center services.
  • Lead network-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to business goals.
  • Produce detailed network documentation and standards to ensure clarity and consistency across the team.
  • Experience with Azure services, including VNet, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and Load Balancers.
  • Deep knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS, with expertise in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced network infrastructures.
  • Proficient in managing network security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and access control mechanisms.
  • Well-versed in Wi-Fi technologies, security standards, and conducting site surveys for office networks and cloud-based wireless deployments.
  • Knowledgeable in Cisco data center solutions, supporting technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus Dashboard, SDN, and Cisco Catalyst Center.
  • Familiarity with Avaya voice systems.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and implement both emerging and existing technologies to align with business goals.
  • Proven ability to handle fast-paced work environments, efficiently prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and provide regular progress updates to management.
  • Strong technical documentation abilities, producing clear and detailed guidelines and standards.
  • Experienced in managing projects from start to finish, ensuring successful execution and timely completion.
