Responsibilities
This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages that typically weigh 20 - 30 lbs. and may weigh up to 50 lbs. Full-time employees usually work 40 hours each week and typically work on Holidays as well.
Key Responsibilities: Safely work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure both independently and within a team-oriented environment. Maintain a positive attitude and support the morale of your team members.
Move packages, up to 50lbs in weight, safely from floor to trailer in a timely manner in order to meet deliverydeadlines.
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, bend and lift up to 50lbs.
Standing for long periods of time. Exposed to warehouse conditions, cold/heat, and noise.
The essential functions of this role include:- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 75lbs
- standing for 6 hours at one time
