Position: Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer
Location: Bronx, NY

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to capture clear, high-quality images.
  • Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
  • Input commands and data into computer systems to document scan sequences, adjusting density and contrast as needed.
  • Monitor patients during exams, maintain safety, and follow procedures to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Produce diagnostic images, relay crucial information to the physician, and update patient records.
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering technical questions, scheduling, and offering pre-procedure advice.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in radiologic technology.
  • BLS Certification
  • Radiographer Certification
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification
  • COVID-19 vaccination card required
