Accounts Payable Clerk - Merced

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in Merced, California for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role primarily revolves around the detail-oriented management of accounts payable in our industry. Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Efficiently manage and track data using basic Microsoft Excel functions.
• Carry out data entry tasks efficiently and accurately to maintain up-to-date records.
• Perform the organization's check cutting requirements as necessary.
• Ensure invoice matching with purchase orders is correctly executed.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the status of accounts.
• Learn new software and procedures quickly, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Code invoices, ensuring accurate categorization and processing.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar finance function
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing and check runs
• Proven ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently
• Strong data entry skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information in a detail oriented and discreet manner
