Accounts Payable Specialist (part-time - 20 hrs per week)
Our client, a reputable non-profit organization in El Cajon, is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join their team on a contract basis. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization while utilizing your accounting skills.
Support the accounts payable process, including coding and entering invoices
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure compliance with established policies
Use Excel and other accounting software to track and manage data
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Assist with basic financial reporting as needed
Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices and payments
Experience in accounts payable and processing invoices
Strong knowledge of Excel (formulas, data entry, and reporting)
Foundational understanding of accounting principles (debits, credits, etc.)
Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
