Chief Technologist Radiologist – Full Time, Permanent Role
Location: Bronx, NY
Adecco Medical and Science is seeking a Chief Technologist Radiologist to join a top-notch facility. This full-time, permanent position offers competitive pay, generous benefits, and the chance to make a real impact on patient care.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee radiology functions, including X-Ray, MR, CT, IR, and technologist aides.
- Ensure compliance with DOH, JCAHO, ACR, and other accrediting bodies.
- Conduct inspections of work areas and equipment; ensure proper maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance to radiologic technologists.
- Manage departmental payroll, schedules, and work assignments.
- Monitor and report on quality indicators (e.g., turn-around times, radiation dose, wait times).
- Evaluate technical staff performance annually.
- Develop and enforce departmental policies and procedures.
- Foster strong relationships with other departments and referring physicians.
- Handle recruitment, discipline, and terminations as needed.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and provide budgeting input.
- Maintain a focus on excellent patient care while meeting volume targets.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years in management or practice.
- Licensure: NYSDOH Radiological Technologist License, ARRT Registered Radiological Technologist.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $94,462.58 – $125,950.11
