Day Warehouse Associate - Woonsocket

Job Description

An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Operate an electric pallet jack (or other powered industrial equipment) to unload inbound shipments from trailers and convey product to the receiving area and warehouse aisles.
• Breakdown and restack product from pallets.
• Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment including, but not limited to, powered industrial equipment and personal protective equipment.
• Perform pre-trip inspections, and safely operate all powered industrial equipment.
• Shrink-wrap product on the loading dock.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Organize warehouse slots to prepare for selection by rotating pallets and fronting shelves.
• Adhere to all safety practices and company policies and food safety principles. Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
• Attend all required company meetings.

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety requirements.
• Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating electric pallet jack or forklift preferred.

• Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds, using safe lifting practices.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches to stack and unstack pallets.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack or other powered industrial equipment, retrieving items from lower shelf areas.

• Monday through Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Pay: $18.00

• Must be able to work the assigned schedule.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, all equipment and tools used to perform the job.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully pass a controlled substance screening test.
• Must adhere to all safety practices and company policies.
• Able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop a working knowledge of the product.
• Must be able to work as a team and individually
• Must be able to follow directions o Attention to detail is key in this position
