Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks according to industry standards.
- Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
- Loads/unloads trucks.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to safely climb trees and remove branches.
- Knowledge of rigging systems for elevated tree work.
- Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment as assigned.
- Set up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and the public.
- Assumes responsibility for the inspection and proper working conditions of tolls, truck, and other work equipment.
- Basic equipment mechanics
- Maintain clean work areas by removing debris and disposing of it properly.
- Follow safety protocols and always use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Performs other related work, as assigned by foreman.
Qualifications: Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in United States
- Must be willing to travel.
- 1-2 years’ Experience required.
- Preferred Driver’s License
- Must pass drug testing.
- Be safety minded.
- Willingness to learn.
- No fear of heights
- Positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of trimmers, hand tools & appropriate safety equipment.

Job Description
Forestry/Vegetation/Bucket Truck Laborer is responsible for helping with the routine maintenance of the ROW for natural gas pipeline across NC. Specialized areas of Right of Way maintenance can include Reclamation, new & existing right of way clearing, erosion control and seeding, and bush hogging.This can mean running mechanical trimmers & chainsaws after proper safety training and testing. All employees are expected to maintain a clean work area and ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
There will be training, and certifications completed overtime that will be the employees to keep. Although this is an entry-level position with our company there are opportunities to learn and grow within the company.This will be mostly in the state, along with some in state overnights required. We usually are no farther than 3-4 hrs. away from our shop locations. Workdays are Monday – Friday. In the circumstance we are traveling overnight the company pays a nightly per diem in addition to the hotel cost for every night out of town.
