Job Description

Responsibilities for the Quality Control Manager Opening:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve product/service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present quality control reports and metrics to senior management.
  • Managing the daily activity of quality staff including lead persons, auditors, label personnel and clerical positions.
  • Maintain SPC (statistical process control) as a working tool in the plant
  • Identify, measure and maintain key customer satisfaction measurements (OTIF, DI, Response time)
  • Ensure that all federal and local UN, DOT, EPA and FDA regulations are being conformed to and that reporting is being kept up to date.
  • Assist the plant manager with any issues regarding quality investigation or quality reporting
  • Develop and implement the ISO conforming quality and documentation system.

The Successful Applicant
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and safety.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.
  • Experience in PPAP preparation and conducting internal audits.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Experience in the powder coating industry.
