STW - Logistics Student (12 months)
DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a talented **Logistics Student** (12 months) to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Troy, MI.

+ **Housekeeping** : Keeping your work area clean and orderly, including performing routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks, will contribute to a well-maintained and efficient workspace.
+ **Team Collaboration** : Communicating effectively with your team and support teams will foster a collaborative work environment and improve overall productivity.
+ **Continuous Improvement** : Participating in training and actively seeking ways to improve quality, safety, and processes will drive continuous improvement and personal development.
+ **Support Operations** : Assisting Lab Team Leaders, Test Engineers, and Test Technicians with obtaining and delivering test sample components will ensure smooth and efficient operations in the test lab.

**Education/Experience:**
Pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in general studies, Logistics, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain, or Facilities Management.
**QUALIFICATIONS**

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Analytical mind and business acumen
+ Proficient with personal computers and Microsoft Office programs
+ Ability to lift 40 lbs. and push/pull 150 lbs.
+ Stand for long periods of time.
+ Ability to become trained and certified on forklift.
+ Ability to operate an overhead crane.
+ Mechanical background
+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols.
+ Up to 40 hours of on-site employment per week; availability during key laboratory hours
**Compensation:**
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
