We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Winchester, Kentucky. The chosen candidate will be a crucial part of our team, collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient and accurate accounting operations. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute significantly to our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and correctness of all accounting transactions.
• Handle the organization's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Perform double-entry bookkeeping tasks.
• Close the previous month's accounts by the 15th of every current month.
• Update and maintain business licenses in all operational counties.
• Manage occupational taxes across all counties we operate in.
• Prepare documents for tax preparation at the end of each year.
• Develop yearly Profit & Loss budgets.
• Oversee inventory levels and manage large orders of raw materials.
• Maintain the fixed asset list for depreciation purposes.
• Collaborate with various team members, including payroll, CPA, and occasionally project managers.
• Assume responsibility for credit card reconciliations.
• Utilize accounting software such as ComputerEase and Jobcost for posting billings.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Staff Accountant
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary
• Familiarity with General Ledger management
• Ability to handle Journal Entries efficiently
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of NetSuite for accounting purposes
• Proficiency in Oracle financial software
• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
• Knowledge of SAP financial software is required
