Sales Coordinator
Overview:
As a Sales Coordinator in our dynamic group hotel sales office, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring seamless coordination of group bookings. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication between departments, and assisting in the execution of sales strategies to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Your role will involve handling inquiries, preparing contracts and proposals, maintaining sales databases, and providing operational support to the sales team. You will act as a liaison between the hotel and clients, ensuring a smooth booking experience from initial inquiry to final execution.With a proactive and service-oriented mindset, you will contribute to the success of the sales department by building strong relationships with clients, anticipating their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that align with our brand's commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Be a pillar of organization and a master of systems in the sales office, assisting the Sales Team in revenue generation.
- With an innovative mindset, proactively identify and develop new sales leads through phone solicitation, prospecting, sales calls, trade shows, and more. Some travel may be required.
- Fully understand hotel amenities, venues, and options to provide tailored recommendations that create authentic experiences for our groups.
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly.
- Create, execute, and support the operational aspects of business bookings, including generating proposals, drafting contracts, and handling customer correspondence.
- Foster positive and productive relationships with all team members of Lake Nona Hotels.
- Create memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that resonates with guests and all departments.
- Take initiative to resolve guest concerns and enhance loyalty by going beyond expectations.
- Share personal knowledge and passion for services and amenities to help guests feel comfortable, valued, and at home.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure guest needs are met and effectively communicate relevant information to staff and management.
- Promptly answer telephones and greet guests enthusiastically, maintaining a high level of professionalism regardless of workload.
- Attend all meetings as assigned by sales leadership.
- Conduct engaging property site tours that highlight hotel features and benefits tailored to customers’ individual needs.
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to evolving operational needs and perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of hotel operations or sales experience preferred.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
- Proficient in working with computers in a Windows environment.
- Ability to learn and master CI/TY(CRM), LightSpeed (PMS), and other assigned applications and systems.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to efficiently manage workload, prioritize tasks, and adhere to deadlines set by customers, the sales team, and leadership.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to function effectively as part of a team.
- Capable of setting priorities when managing multiple demands.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple properties.

Experience. Previous experience passionately providing service to others and providing administrative support in a team-oriented environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
