Warehouse Supervisor

• Collaborate with the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to manage the timing and flow of incoming produce shipments, ensuring on-time arrival and proper handling.
• Inspect inbound produce for quality, freshness, and safety; document findings and report to the Operations Team.
• Conduct inventory counts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate labeling and storage.
• Notify Purchasing and Sales Departments of product-related issues.
• Supervise the picking, packing, and shipping of produce orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement FIFO practices to maintain freshness and reduce spoilage.
• Oversee preparation and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
• Track and address potential shipping delays.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse associates to meet productivity and safety standards.
• Organize staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for daily operations.
• Assess and improve warehouse processes to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Enforce safety, food safety, and OSHA protocols to ensure compliance and maintain a clean environment.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and address issues promptly.
• Ensure secure handling of produce and adherence to warehouse security protocols.

This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to maintain efficient warehouse operations and uphold high-quality standards.
