Responsibilities:
- Drive to lead by example, passionate about positively navigating customer interactions while elevating their experience.
- Able to analyze business results and strategize how to drive improvements while maintaining current successes.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate your talent to excel in all aspects of the business including customer experience, consistent sales success, visual merchandising, and operational excellence.
- Engage with team to uncover any blockages to their success and identify how to support and develop passionate sales performance.
- Manage daily store opening, closing, and operating duties.
- Creatively drive store exposure through community engagement, marketing endeavors, and networking efforts.
- Be a leader by developing and motivating the location's sales team through a consultative sales and service approach.
- Manage store operations while being accountable for personal/store sales as well as the development of a high performing, motivated team.
- Effectively managing customer traffic visiting the store and balancing wait times.
- Stay current on all products, services, and promotions, and ensure constant communication occurs in educating others of all relevant information.
- Ensure the location is fully staffed at all times.
- Ensure store always looks its best and is compliant with the T-Mobile merchandising requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the guidelines set by T-Mobile and Verge Mobile, which includes merchandising, inventory/shrinkage and customer service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Passionate about leading a team and ready to drive a culture of supreme customer service.
- Competitive, spirited attitude, driven to surpass sales goals.
- High school diploma or GED and 4 years of retail sales or customer service (Wireless retail management experience, preferred).
- Experience in supervising, managing, and training employees in a retail sales environment.
- Knowledge of the wireless industry standards and technology is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of operational and financial management (P&L) standards.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Capable of building trusting relationships.
- Exhibits a can-do attitude that is positive, supportive, and cooperative.
- Can effectively balance customer needs and performance goals.
- Must be flexible to work various shifts throughout the week which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand long periods of time.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Pass a pre-employment background check (will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all laws).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
