Any automation testing exp w/ tools like java gradle or testNG framework or groovy thats a huge bonus. Open to candidates with some selenium exp as well. Team doesnt use it but could be useful.

Looking for strong Java and strong SQL candidates. All candidates must sit in NYC, 3 days/week.

Team is responsible for back-office and trade records. There are millions of stock transactions every day that need to be reported to FINRA and other government regulators. The government uses this data to see trade positions. Most reporting is automated and errors will occur.

Example the data is ran through 30+ systems and in one system loses the .OQ on the report - which is a different stock purchase. The team must "find the needle in the haystack" of why/how this happened and what effect did the bad data have. Josh's team will use SQL to find the bad data and Hua's team will use Java to fix the system.

Domain experience is not required. Prior finanical expereince or related education is a plus. Polished communication skills are more important than dev skills -need to be able to work on a team. There is a possibility for full-time conversion.
