Robert Half Contracts Finance & Accounting Division is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a great construction firm in Roseville! This Accounts Payable Specialist would be working directly with the AP Manager and handling tasks such as:
Maintaining accounts payable process – invoices, statements, payments
Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendor
Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
Assist managers and vendors with invoice/statement inquiries
Analyzing workflow processes
Assist with coding, entering and reconcile of Credit Card Statements
Assists with audits as needed
The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience, have excellent attention to detail and Yardi/Construction experience would be a plus! This is a full-time position onsite and would start right away. If you feel this is the job for you, apply today!
- Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a key requirement.
- Familiarity with Ceridian software will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience with Concur software is necessary.
- Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is expected.
- Must have a solid understanding of accounting functions.
- Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
