We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team as part-time Teacher Assistants at our Early Learning Center in New Windsor, NY.
PAY: $15.50 per hourSCHEDULE: Varies between 6:30 am 6:30 pm
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
YOUR ROLE INCLUDES:
Working alongside the Lead Teacher to plan and carry out hands-on activities based on the Creative Curriculum, customized to meet the individual needs and interests of the children.Keeping regular communication with parents and family members via the Playground App to ensure transparency and involvement in their child's daily experiences.
Building positive adult-child relationships using the CLASS method to ensure a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Helping maintain the safety, health, and well-being of all children in the classroom and the broader center community by adhering to ECERS/ITERS standards and guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
You are 18 years old or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.While having one year of experience working with children under 13 is helpful, its not required. Were more interested in your passion and potential!
Be ready to complete a background check, including fingerprinting, references, and screenings through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
Youve been medically cleared to perform all job duties and are free of any communicable diseases, including TB.
Youre a warm, friendly, and positive person with excellent people skills whether interacting with children, parents, or team members. Youre also reliable, professional, and punctual.
Youre able and willing to bend, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and stay active to keep up with the children!
