Job Title: EMESA Regional Compliance Manager
Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6 Months (Tentative)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join the EMESA Regional Compliance Team temporarily. This role, reporting to the Regional Compliance Senior Director, will focus on ensuring adherence to compliance policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks across the region.

The Compliance team operates within the Risk function, offering oversight and advisory support on key compliance areas, including bribery & corruption, insider trading, conflicts of interest, third-party risk, and information management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Advisory & Management: Advise business teams on identifying, assessing, and mitigating reputational and regulatory risks in client engagements. Provide risk mitigation guidance during the proposal stage, aligning with organizational policies and values.
  • Risk Assessment & Compliance Monitoring: Conduct horizon scanning for emerging risks, regulatory changes, and geopolitical sensitivities. Implement risk assessment frameworks and monitor the effectiveness of compliance efforts.
  • Policy & Governance Implementation: Develop, review, and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines. Support change management initiatives for effective policy implementation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Communicate compliance priorities and influence stakeholders at all levels in a matrix-based international environment. Escalate high-risk matters to senior leadership as necessary.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Law, Compliance, or a relevant discipline (advanced degrees or professional certifications preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or fraud examination, preferably in a multinational financial institution, consulting firm, or professional services organization.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance topics, including bribery & corruption, insider trading, conflicts of interest, third-party risk, and information management.
  • Project management experience with the ability to implement compliance programs effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
