Director, Technical Product Management
Collaboration with Engineering, Data, Operations, and user experience/user interface UX/UI teams in integral to achieving these objectives, emphasizing cross-functional dependencies and cohesive delivery of results. Execute product strategies and guide product management practices.
Work with a team of product managers using the Agile philosophy. Support analysis and deep insight of customer data, customer needs, and product portfolio to identify and evaluate opportunities, and adjust product features and improvements. Review competitor activity and market trends to ensure our products satisfy user needs and are of the highest quality.
Support cross-team dependencies within and outside of the Product function to ensure consistency and quality across key projects and deliveries from inception to application. Apply product management practices and product frameworks to ensure efficiencies and quality improvements of the Product function.
EDUCATIONMust have BS in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technologies or a closely related field.
EXPERIENCE
6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in software product management in the healthcare industry including 6 years with the following: (1) designing and developing healthcare software products; (2) integrating healthcare data for numerous Large Health Information Exchanges (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athena, Greenway, etc.) and Real-World Evidence companies; (3) building incremental product roadmaps to realizing a companys vision; (4) working subject to healthcare standards (e.g. HL7 2x, FHIR, CCR/CCD, HIPAA) and with healthcare interface engines (e.g. Cloverleaf, Ensemble and Mirth); (5) applying product systems and processes in scaled operations; and (6) analyzing data, market trends, competitor strategies, and applying customer insights to identifying opportunities, and prioritizing product features and improvements.
CERTIFICATION
Must have previously received HL7 certification attesting to knowledge and proficiency in health information technology (HIT) standards and have previously received AWS Solutions Architect certification demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills designing and deploying cloud architecture on Amazon Web Service (AWS).
