Job Description
The CCO drives the development and execution of a clustered commercialization strategy in line with our business plans. You strengthen the commercialization organization to drive market adoption of our products and are responsible for business, revenue & market share growth.You take a global perspective on market opportunities, leads and prioritizes commercial action plan, making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives.
You will be responsible for the overall cluster commercial organization of both agencies within Belgium and Netherlands.
On a country level:
- Set up, organize, and drive sales teams to follow up the customer portfolio and identify growth opportunities within their area.
- Develop commercial activities according to the objectives set by the Group
- Validate and challenge business action plan developed by Sales Manager
- Implement management tools to follow sales teams' performances as per the group strategy, and proactively implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Promote products and services to customers and prospects
- Analyze market statistics on a regular basis and report to the General Management and teams based in Regional Office
- Taking charge and intervene on post-sales actions, in case the situation requires so On a cluster level:
- Coordinate and align commercial strategies within the cluster, considering the unique economic, cultural, and regulatory factors of both countries.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the sales department responsible for daughter countries, ensuring a unified approach to achieve cluster-wide objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales department in charge of daughter countries, providing guidance and support to enhance their effectiveness.
- Oversee market research and analysis for the entire cluster, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify new growth opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for higher-level strategic discussions and decisions related to the cluster, representing the commercial interests of all countries involved.
- 10+ years as an Account Manager
- Hands-on and pragmatic approach in day-to-day actions
- Strong Knowledge in Shipping (minimum 10+ Years of experience in liner shipping)
- Management Skills
- Effective communication skills (Ability to articulate various business scenarios with customers, senior business leaders & middle management) Demonstration of professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to manage stress through challenging situations
- Must be able to prioritize work effectively and manage time efficiently
- Previous experience in Salesforce platform
- Analytical mindset with ability to use data to dive decision making
