Finance Manager
Oversee all aspects of company’s financial accounting and reconciliation operations. Manage daily activities such as collections, maintenance contracts, new machines orders, bank and credit card reconciliations, and journal entries. Review monthly financial statements and communicate with company headquarters regarding financial and accounting operations.Collaborate with the HQ General Manager and Controller to analyze quarterly financial reports to determine the profitability of various products and departments. Review employee time tracking and bi-weekly payroll processing including Journal Entries in the ERP.
Collaborate with the company’s CPA with quarterly GST returns, estimated taxes, and Fiscal Year closing process. Review monthly sales taxes and tax return confirmation. Manage 2 employees.
Travel Required: 5% of travel to company headquarters. May work remotely.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent, and 2 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Financial Manager, or alternate related acceptable occupation.
Work or academic experience must have included:
- Business management systems including Arco, Business, MYOB, Peachthree, Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Performing bank reconciliations for a multi-national company.
- Performing intracompany reconciliation reviews.
- Overseeing information flow processes between a company’s headquarters and their additional branches worldwide.
- Reviewing and implementing all internal processes for a finance department and overseeing daily inventory operations.
- Implementing management control and budgeting reporting systems according with the internal process, payroll process and entries, multicurrency transactions and financials statements of the foreign branches.
HTS codes and country of origin internal implementation process, complex customs declaration for importing and exporting, Incoterms 2000/2010, Carnet Ata for Trade Shows deliveries, Temporary Import Bond.
