Inventory Associate
The candidate will work as a Transportation Logistics Specialist responsible for managing inventory and logistics in a 24/7 shop environment. They will handle tasks such as pulling materials from the warehouse for shop use, managing stockouts and Inventory counts, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments using various software programs including Oracle and the Ryder portal.
Schedule: (flexible) 7:00AM - 3:00PM ( location is open 24 hours a day and may need to work a different schedule to accommodate work load )
Skill Requirements- Proficiency in using Oracle
- Ability to perform Inventory Counts effectively
- Experience with arranging LTL Shipments and using the Ryder Portal
- Knowledge of handling Hazmat Material
Preferred Requirements:
- Familiarity with reading Mechanical Drawings
- Experience with processing warranty claims
- Oracle: A comprehensive database management system used for storing and retrieving data as requested by other software applications.
- Cycle Counts: A method of inventory auditing which involves counting a small amount of inventory on a specific day without having to do an entire stock take.
- LTL Shipments: Less than Truckload shipping; used for freight that doesn't require an entire truck.
- Ryder Portal: An online tool used for managing transportation logistics operations.
- Hazmat Material: Hazardous materials that need special handling during transport due to their potential risk to health or safety.
Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
