Calling all machine operators! Are you looking for your next long term opportunity? If so, Randstad may have an opportunity for you. We are seeking a 2nd shift machine operator for an immediate opening in the Watertown area. This is a contract to hire position offering full time hours plus weekly overtime.

salary: $18 - $18.5 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 2:45 PM - 11:45 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Machine operator
2nd shift 245-1145pm M-F

Training on 1st shift for approximately 3 weeks 6am-3pm M-F

Operating press machines
Feeding coils of raw material into machine
Inspecting parts for defects- 1st piece and in process inspections
Following written instructions & blueprints

Documenting results

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

Blueprint Reading
Inspection
micrometers (1 year of experience is required)
Manufacturing
machine operator (1 year of experience is required)
