Navy Logistics Analyst (New Acquisition Logistics) - Philadelphia
Responsibilities:
Noblis MSD is seeking to hire a New Acquisition Logistics Analyst to support the US Navy out of the Philadelphia, Navy Yard.
Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.
Based out of the Philadelphia Navy Yard the New Acquisition Logistics Analyst will be responsible for:
- Serve as the program lead for planning, managing, and coordinating life cycle logistics support.
- Develop and implement acquisition and logistics strategies to support NSWC Philadelphia.
- Develop and communicate logistics requirements for new acquisition.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Develop schedules and estimates for assigned tasks and prepare reports on the results of the deliverables accomplished.
- Provide periodic reports to Program Managers and Integrated Logistics Support Managers.
- Provide Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to multiple programs.
- Interface with engineers, Program Managers, and ILS Managers to obtain drawings, specifications, or data to allow development of a support concept through analysis such as configuration, logistics support resources, and provisioning data.
- Conduct research, including reading source material and meeting with subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.
- Mentor team members.
- Apply a working knowledge of logistics engineering fundamentals in a team management environment.
- Work in various DoD logistics databases.
- Ability to attend in person meetings with NSWC Philadelphia ILS Managers.
This is a long term contract with opportunity for growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and at least 3 years experience, or High School diploma, GED equivalent, and 9 years of Integrated Logistics Support or military experience.
- Familiar with naval logistics, contract management, supply chain logistics, or related field.
- Experience with the Navy Supply and procurement systems and procedures for requisitioning.
- US Citizen with a DoD Secret clearance or able to obtain a DoD Secret .
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in Navy Data Environment (NDE), Logiquest, Haystack, ICAPS, CDMD-OA/MBPS, and Deckplate.
- Experience in developing Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSP) and supportability milestones.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Experience in completing ILS Certifications and COP files/Change Notices.
- Experience in identifying material and logistic requirements for ship alteration and repair.
- Ability to develop and analyze data to determine logistics objectives and goals.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
Posted Salary Range: USD $63,600.00 - USD $99,450.00 /Yr.
