The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, including the month-end close and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the month-end accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Supervising the account reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Managing the budgeting process to align financial resources with organizational objectives.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for financial forecasting to predict future financial trends.
• Using Great Plains software for efficient accounting operations.
• Supervising a team of 2 people, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable staff, to ensure all financial operations run smoothly.
• Continuously improving financial systems and processes to increase efficiency.
• Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Should possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
• Should have strong knowledge and experience in month-end close procedures.
• Must be skilled in account reconciliation.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Should have strong leadership and team management skills.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Should have a solid understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
• Knowledge of accounting software and databases is preferred.
• Must have high ethical standards and professionalism, respecting confidentiality of financial data.
