Position Summary:

The Director of IT Operations and Security will lead our technology infrastructure and security initiatives, ensuring best-in-class service quality and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and effective communications.
  • Implement best practices for project management and continuously improve project delivery processes and forecasts.
  1. Communications:
  • Foster effective communication within the IT team and between IT and other departments.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about IT initiatives, project progress, and any issues or changes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and issues.
  • Ensure clear and concise documentation of IT processes, policies, and procedures.
  1. IT Security:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the organization's data and systems.
  • Monitor and assess IT security risks and vulnerabilities and implement mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to IT security.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address potential threats.
  1. Operational Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including network management, system administration, and technical support.
  • Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve IT service delivery and operational efficiency.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the IT team.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Project Management Professional certification or training recommended.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
