Senior Logistics Coordinator - New Rochelle
Location: New Rochelle, NY Onsite
Duration: Full time role
salary : $60k / Annum
Job description: This role will oversee but not limited to monitoring inventory, purchasing, transportation and warehousing activities.
Responsibilities: Process and manage incoming orders, ensuring accurate documentation and timely execution.
Collaboration and communication between carriers, SSLs, and customers to collect/disseminate accurate information on shipping details, from providing shipment location, clients POC, confirming rates, tracking, providing ETAs and/or reasons for potential delays, etc.
Submission and confirmation of details for all purchase orders sent to suppliers (i.e., pricing, quantity, vintage, pallet configuration, carrier, ready date and/or noting reason(s) for delay in production or shipping)Collaboration and communication between carriers, SSLs, and customers to collect/disseminate accurate information on shipping details, from providing shipment location, clients POC, confirming rates, tracking, providing ETAs and/or reasons for potential delays, etc.
Provide packing slips, intermodal terminal arrival notice, pick-up numbers to carriers whenever necessary.Ensure clearing of any port/pier, prepull, railyard fees.
Submission of all required customs entry documentations (i.e., supplier invoice, labels, CBMA letter, etc.) to customs broker with accurate shipment details for a successful issuing of delivery orders
Liaise with trucking companies, warehouses, suppliers, freight forwarders, broker, Tri-Vins Accounts Payable team, and other entities to ensure the accuracy of inventory, orders, shipping, customs entries, invoices, and other documentations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree required.
Minimum 10 years experience in logistics required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures highly preferred.
Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
