Medical Billing Specialist

The position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

• Review and analyze medical claim denials from the years 2016 to 2023.
• Rebill the denied medical claims under the Medicaid plan.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of medical billing tasks.
• Utilize the E-Clinical Works software in performing daily tasks.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all work.
• Use medical billing and coding skills, including ICD-10 and ICD CPT codes, in daily tasks.
• Quickly adapt to new tasks and responsibilities within the role.
• Maintain accurate records of all medical billing activities. • Proficiency in Medical Billing is a must for this role.
• Comprehensive understanding and proficiency in Medical Coding.
• Knowledge and experience with ICD-10 is required.
• Familiarity with ICD CPT is essential for the role.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks software is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of medical terminologies and procedures.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency in using Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently.
