Position Overview:

Digital Product Design and Front-End Development Intern Job Description
Key responsibilities include leading a project for cataloging existing brand components to
be used by our front-end development team to serve as a reference guide for future
development. The purpose of this project is to reduce front end redesign for components
consistent across the website and instead can utilize an existing component from the
catalog to make necessary edits. The right intern for this role would need design
capabilities and have front end development experience. There will be a full report and
presentation of the project at the conclusion of the internship.
  • Estimated salary range for this role is $17.00/hr to $20.00/hr
  • Internship role for Summer 2025
  • Hybrid role in Roswell, GA
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creation of a design component system to document existing design
elements used across the website.
  • Collaborate with the design and front-end development teams to identify reusable
components and establish guidelines for consistent implementation.
  • Documentation of the components that can be utilized by both product design and
front-end development teams.
  • Conduct design audits of existing components to ensure alignment with brand
standards and usability principles.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and refine the component
system.
  • Present the final project outcomes (design component system), including

recommendations for process improvements, to leadership and stakeholders.

Skills We Are Seeking::

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Focus on strong foundational knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
  • Experience using design tools like Figma for component design and prototyping.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and self-starter

attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in UX/UI design, front-end development, or a related
field.
  • Experience working with front-end development teams or contributing to web
design projects.
  • Exposure to B2B environments or familiarity with design challenges in professional
services industries.
  • Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
