Human Resources (HR) Manager

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in Skokie, Illinois. This role involves strategic HR management, talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations management, HRIS maintenance, and compliance with labor laws.
The HR Manager will work closely with department heads to assess workforce needs and develop succession planning initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute HR strategies in alignment with the organization's strategic direction.
- Manage the entire talent acquisition process, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits and ensure employees are well-informed about their options.
- Design and implement training development programs to enhance employee skills and facilitate career growth.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, including conflict management and resolution.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure data integrity for reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant labor laws.
- Collaborate with department heads to assess workforce needs and develop succession planning initiatives.
- Conduct performance management processes to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role in HR.
- Strong knowledge of talent management practices, benefits administration, and conflict management techniques.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems; experience with Paylocity, Paychex, or ADP is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) are advantageous.
