CDL Truck Driver
Are you an experienced CDL Truck Driver looking for a new opportunity?
Acara Solutions is hiring for our client in Lake Zurich, IL. The primary responsibility in this role will be driving a small local delivery box truck for deliveries primarily within the local Chicago area.
What you'll do:
Drive semi-trucks and box trucks for local and regional deliveries.
Complete 1-2 full-day trips per week from Chicago to Cincinnati.
Perform vehicle maintenance checks and ensure trucks are in good working condition.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
Coordinate with the team to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Completion of all company-required paperwork related to delivery tracking and receipt by customers.
Use route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages/cargo to customers and/or vendors on time.
Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries.
Keep accurate records of gas usage, miles, and other data.
Keep the company vehicle interior and exterior clean.
Assist with loading and unloading of containers and/or freight as needed.
What you'll get:
Monday to Friday
Regular Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (flexible)
No weekends or holidays
Hourly Rate: $30-$35 per hour depending upon experience
